Our first School Ambassadors were the Student Council at St Aidan’s National School, Tallaght and 5th class students from Rathmore National School in Naas.

• The programme includes a visit from the Ombudsman for Children and our Participation and Rights Education Team who give a rights workshop to the participating class. 
• The OCO makes a number of visits to our School Ambassadors throughout the year for rights based activities and to film videos for social media with a rights theme. 
• Our Ambassadors carry out their own rights awareness activities in the classroom too. 
• At the end of the year, our Ambassador Schools receive an OCO School Ambassador Programme Certificate of participation.
