Hundreds of children and young people visit the OCO each year with their schools, youth projects and other children’s services to take part in our rights education workshops. Through these workshops, we facilitate children and young people to develop their understanding of children’s rights and to explore issues relating to children’s rights and children’s lives in Ireland in an age-appropriate, interactive way.
These workshops are:
- free of charge
- open to school groups, youth projects and children’s services
- about 90 minutes long.
The OCO can assist with transport costs associated with groups of children and young people visiting the OCO to take part in this programme.
Whether you’re a young person, a primary school teacher, a CSPE teacher, a Transition Year coordinator, a Youthreach coordinator, a youth worker or a professional working with children and young people, why don’t you contact us to find out more?
