Nowhere to Turn – children with disabilities left with no support

In 2020 the OCO published an investigation into a little boy called Jack who, despite having no medical requirement, was left in a hospital bed for over two and half years because the HSE and
Tusla initially failed to work together to support his family.

Nearly three years on, we have found there are still other children with disabilities, like Jack, who are not getting the support they need to stay at home with their families.
