Jack’s Case: One Year On

In 2020, the Ombudsman for Children’s Office published Jack’s case, our investigation into the care of a young boy with profound disabilities who suffered brain damage and significant life-changing injuries in a car accident as a small boy. Twelve months on, we are returning to this case and tracking the progress made by the HSE and Tusla on commitments made in response to last year’s report.
