Filling out an OCO complaint form

Using AI to fill out an OCO complaint form

We want to hear about your complaint in your own words. Please be aware that AI-generated text can make complaints overly complicated. This may increase the time it takes for us to review your complaint to decide if we can help you or not. We may also need to ask you to send us your complaint again, without any unnecessary information.

Simple language is always best when submitting a complaint. Please rest assured that we will ask you any follow up questions if we need more information or if something isn’t clear.

You should also remember that there are risks associated with using AI tools when sharing your information.

What we need to know when you are making a complaint

  • When it happened
  • How it affected you
  • If you have complained to the service locally
  • We will need you to send us a copy of the public body’s response to your complaint to them.
  • What you would like done to put things right
