What does this mean?

Every child has the right to play and rest, and it is just as important as your other rights!

You need to get enough play and rest to make sure you enjoy all your other rights and can be the best person you can be.

Fun Fact!

Studies have shown that playing can help with a child’s brain development and helps them make friends.

There are plenty of different types of play to suit all children, like art, sports, drama, video games, soft play, Lego, you name it!

When new houses are being built sometimes you will see a playground built beside it.

When you go to school it’s important to have time to play as well as learn, because you learn a lot from playing too! That’s why you will have breaks across the day and lessons that are fun.
