Child Talks
Child Talks is our annual event held every November to celebrate World Children’s Day. Running since 2018, Child Talks hears directly from children and young people about the issues that matter to them.
School Ambassador Programme
Our School Ambassador Programme sees us partner up with two primary schools who help us to promote children’s rights through activities at their school and on social media. The OCO’s School Ambassador Programme has been running since 2023.
Youth Advisory Panel
We listen to young people’s concerns and make sure their opinions are heard by people who make decisions affecting them. Our Youth Advisory Panel or YAP is made up of a group of young people aged 12-17 from all around the country. They advise us on children’s rights issues in Ireland and regularly contribute to the work of our Office.
