OCO celebrates Ireland’s 25th anniversary since signing the UN Convention on the Rights of Children

On Thursday 28th September 2017 the Ombudsman for Children’s Office celebrated Ireland’s 25th anniversary since signing the UN Convention on the Rights of Children. Marta Santos Pais, UN Special Representative of the Secretary General on Violence against Children sent the Ombudsman for Children a special message to mark this significant occasion. Marta helped draft the UN Convention on the Rights of Children 25 years previously.
