Celebrate with us!

We are marking 25 years since Ireland ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child making a promise to all children and young people to prioritise their rights and hear their voices. Learn, Participate and Explore your Rights here.

What is it?

The Ombudsman for Children’s office is marking the 25th anniversary of Ireland’s ratification of the UNCRC by inviting everyone to get involved and to celebrate ‘Children Now, Rights Now’.

Listening to young people

A consultation group of 21 young people from all backgrounds played a big role in informing our launch event on the 28th of September and other aspects of the programme.
