Connecting Communities

Connecting Communities is an initiative undertaken by the OCO in order to recognise and celebrate examples of community-based programmes and projects which have a positive impact on the lives of children, young people and their families.

Connecting Communities has been designed based on the views and opinions of children, young people and their parents about what is important for them in community life. It follows extensive discussions with different voluntary and community groups working at local level to improve children’s lives.
