Hundreds of children and young people of different ages and from different parts of Ireland visit the OCO each year to take part in our workshops. During these workshops we help children and young people to explore their rights and responsibilities and to tell us about issues that concern them. Our visits programme is an important way for us to know what matters to children and young people.
These workshops are
free of charge;
open to school groups, children’s projects and youth services;
about 90 minutes long.
The OCO can subsidise transport costs for groups travelling to take part in a workshop.
We are always delighted to welcome groups of children and young people to the OCO. So, whether you’re a young person, a primary school teacher, a CSPE teacher, a Transition Year coordinator, a Youthreach coordinator or a youth worker or professional working with young people, why don’t you contact us to find out more?
