Small Places is the third in a series of educational resource materials developed by the Ombudsman for Children’s Office since 2007.
These new materials assist teachers at primary and post-primary level to explore children’s rights and responsibilities with their students in the context of curriculum teaching and learning. In particular, Small Places aims to support children and young people to make connections between children’s rights, as set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and their daily lives at home, at school and in their communities.
The materials for primary schools have been developed for work with children in 3rd to 6th class.
